6HL The Fountain of Youth and you - By Sabatino Verlezza If the Fountain of Youth really did exist, someone surely would have found it by now. Explorers and adventurers have searched all over the world for thousands of years and nothing has sprung up. The famous myth suggests that if you drink from the elusive and mysterious fountain, you will forever retain your youthful vitality or stop aging altogether. For thousands of years, humans have sought to find, bathe in, and drink from this legendary and curative spring. As we all “get on” in years, staying young seems to be an inevitable quest. But maybe it doesn’t need to be. Perhaps, we don’t need to travel to far-away places, conjure up spirits, or mix questionable potions to sustain our youth. We may not need to find that special spring to put a spring in our step. The quest can end right now. In truth, the quest need not be quested at all. And to be clear, there are no strings attached to this sudden course change. To follow this new

The Red Poppy To Honor and Remember By Suzanne Kalafian Although the red poppy is native to Europe and Asia, the bright red blooms can also be found in the US in meadows and wildflower groupings around the country. These beautiful red flowers may appear fragile but their resilience is great. Despite the beautiful blooms, some consider these plants a weed because of their willingness to thrive in unlikely conditions.* World War I gave the red poppy new meaning. It has become a symbol, a remembrance to honor the fallen soldiers.  These brilliant red flowers are survivors and burst through the rough ground on the battlefields to remind us of hope and brighter days, when all was so desperate.** In the United States, on and around Memorial Day, these significant red flowers can be seen on lapels, hats, crosses and memorials. They are worn to honor all the men and women who died fighting for our country. This Memorial weekend let's remember all the Fallen Heroes who gave their lives to k

In fact, for anything to work well or to its highest capacity, it must be in the most aligned order possible. In this article, we will take a look at the importance of physical alignment of the dog, and the dog’s best friend, the person.  Alignment can be fleeting or short-lived so it is best if we can participate in the pursuit of that ephemeral symmetry while at the same time, nurture it. Human Alignment: Like most things in life, we're always looking for some kind of balance. It is challenging to find ways of releasing stress, eating well, working out, and being mindful while navigating all the ups and downs of life. And yet, ‘balance' is not necessarily a location, a place, or a fixed point – it

My name is Suzanne and you guessed it, I am a Dog Trainer.    I know some of you may think that it’s easy to be a Dog Trainer.    What I can tell you is that when you are dealing with a different species there is a lot to learn and it is fascinating to boot.    I jumped in with two feet, wanting to know it all.    Here I am 20 some years later working with a Choreographer/Dancer in an unlikely business endeavor we call 6 Hairy Legs.    Bringing together two species through the connection of (to use a cliché) Mind, Body and Soul add Love and you have 6 Hairy Legs. Sometimes, only four legs are hairy, but no judgment! The field of Dog Training varies greatly and within this field, there are special places where the magic happens. That is what 6 Hairy Legs is all about. This is
